Intineray Day by Day:(B)= breakfast / (L)= lunch / (D)= dinner
Cost by person in Double Occupancy  US$ 1,550 Each One.  Minimum 2 people

Day 1: Nauta - Maranon River. (L) (D)
Your guide will be waiting for you as your flight lands at Iquitos International Airport. From here you will board an air-conditioned bus for the 1.5 hour drive through scenic Peruvian countryside to Nauta, where the Aria will be waiting. Before dinner there will be a routine safety drill and an orientation talk about life on board, where you will go and what you will see on your cruise. This evening there will be a Welcome Dinner on board. Celebrate the start of your Amazonian adventure with a glass of fine South American wine. After dinner you may wish to take a nightcap on the Upper Deck, under the stars, before retiring for the night.

Day 2: Maranon River - Choroyacu - San Pedro de Tipischca - Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
After breakfast, board your skiff to explore the Yanallpa, an amazing black water stream which is part of the huge Amazon flooded forest. Learn about the rainforest and explore what scientists call a ‘gallery forest’ – an area of narrow vegetation which creates a tunnel of leaves. As you float through the tunnel, you can see parrots, macaws and the fluffy monk saki monkeys that inhabit this area. After lunch back on the ship, enjoy a jungle walk and village visit. You will be introduced to native people doing subsistence farming and will tell you how they learned to cultivate wild plants and trees to earn farm income. You will travel deep into the forest and discover a wealth of fruit trees and medicinal plants hidden in the jungle.

Day 3: Tacsha River - Pacaya Samiria - San Martin de Tipishca (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast, choose from two itineraries. Option one, enjoy a full day excursion deep in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, along the Samiria River. Along the route you will have the opportunity to see various species of monkey, such as squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and saddleback tamarin monkeys, plus many bird species including blue, yellow and scarlet macaws, toucans and river hawks. You will arrive at the PV2 Tascha watchpost, where you follow a path deep into the rainforest. Enjoy a generous picnic lunch, before heading back to the vessel. Option two, spend the morning with a Naturalist Guide who will inform you all about sustainable resource management projects in Amazonia, and will take you to one of these projects, where villagers are planting palms to obtain oil. You will then be taken deep into the jungle, where you will encounter wildlife and learn first-hand about the important medicinal value of many jungle plants. After lunch onboard the vessel, set off for a late afternoon skiff excursion. Keep your eyes peeled to the jungle canopy where you might catch a glimpse of several kinds of primates, alligators, as well as over 200 species of birds. As the sun sets, you may even spot, tree boas, caimans, tarantulas and frogs. Return to Aria for dinner.

Day 4: Yanayaquillo - Tahuayo - Charo Lake. (B) (L) (D)
As the sun rises, you are back on the river spotting a treasure trove of wildlife, including macaws, parrots, toucans and a large variety of monkeys. Enjoy a 'bag' breakfast of light sandwiches and fresh juice at a popular dolphin feeding spot. After lunch, travel to a splendid lake, where you will have the opportunity to catch one of 3000 types of species of tropical fish that live in the Amazon Basin. Once back onboard the Aria, the vessel sails towards Iquitos. Enjoy a final dinner with your fellow passengers on board the ship.

Day 5: Iquitos. (B)
After your final breakfast, take a morning excursion along the Amazon. See how people live along the river by floating in skiffs through the lively riverside community of Belen. Here, at certain times of the year, the houses and shops actually float on the river. You can visit the bustling market, which is where food for the entire Peruvian Amazon is traded. In the late morning return to the ship to pack up and enjoy a final lunch on board. In the afternoon there is a city tour of Iquitos and a visit to the Manatee Rescue Centre, where Biologists and volunteers care for endangered Amazon manatees. You will learn how the manatees are prepared for release back into their natural habitat. Your final visit of the tour will be to the San Juan Amazonian Indian Market where you can shop for souvenirs before transferring back to the airport in Iquitos.
